I am using the quote "entirely under his wife's thumb".... where do i put the citation in the following sentence? after the quotation mark or ant the end of the sentence?
The father is reportedly "entirely under his wife's thumb" and does not support Cinderella even..... etc [end]. does it go at the end before the period? help!

if using MLA style, at the end of the sentence.
if using APA style, right after the end of the quotation marks.

The citation would go at the end of the sentence, after the period.
