I loaded vista on my 300 gb hd and I wanted to partition half of it for my media.

If these system partition has some free space you can easily split it in two partitions using Disk Director by Acronis without any data being lost.

I,m not sure about the Vista part, too new for me yet.

But I use partion magic.
