Why would anyone put a corset on his face?It is just gross.....and everything they do with implants and scarring and suspension and stuff.....my god

That is an awfully closed minded way to think, dear.

People do those things for all sorts of reasons. Some do it for the shock value, some do it just for the rush of adrenaline they get. And some do it because they feel it makes them more beautiful. No one questions you when you wear makeup or dye your hair. This is the beauty of being human. Everyone is different, and everyone sees thing in a different light. What might be considered completely repulsive to you, could be considered delightful to someone else.

Try to broaden your horizons a little more. At the end of the day, what the people do to their bodies doesn't have any effect on your life..and they are people with problems and emotions just like you.

Now, I've never put a corset on my face or hung myself from hooks...but I can say from my other piercing and tattoo experiences that it's just a form of art to me. And I admit I like the attention I get. I can't speak for anyone else though, that's just how I feel about it.

Try not to be so judgmental. You never know who might be looking at you thinking the same thing you are saying about these people.

I did an presentation on this topic for college. I agree most of it is gross, but to some people, it is their way of being themselves. The same way you choose the haircut you have, the nail polish you wear, or even the make up you wear.They are just expressing themselves. Yes, I think it is stupid that they cannot express themselves originally, that they have to take things from other cultures, but what can you do. I believe that most to it to impress other people and to feel "loved, needed, wanted and to stand out."
