This would be a great idea, but will never happen as long as the current resident of the White House is on Exxon / Mobil's payroll and the V.P. is on Halliburton's.

Exxon just reported earned profits of 39 billion last year alone Hilburton I dont know about Pharmacuticals are hugh. Most say the the research and exploration is where the money goes but if that watrue then their profits would be more in line with their expentures. Instead of war why dont we ask them , because they made most of their money off of the backs of Americans, to help pay for Medical insurance for every american. Bush has forgotten about the people here, oh im sorry he never was part of them any way just a above the law little rich brat, I really dont care what any republican says Bush is not concerned with the working guy Democrats are so yesinstead of c.e.o buy outs how about people help

Exxon has yet to pay the court ordered fine for the Valdez tragedy in Alaska-I forget how many years ago that was...and that's despite the fact they're highly, highly profitable.

If we were as tough on them fro disobeying our government as we were in Iraq, by rights they should be banned from doing business in in US until that is paid in full. I bet they'd pay rather quickly.

Actually, the one's profiting the most seem to be the Democrats. It got them slim majorities in the house and senate. And if they can just keep the furor going for two more years, they are hoping that it will bring them the presidency.

I hear that. I think a good start is for them to pay their fair share of taxes. No more draining money out of our country while claiming to be from another country because they have an office in Trinidad.
