I presently do it all cutting, coloring, and chemical straightening systems. I am really wanting to return to my roots as a color specialist and am seeking a salon to work in. Being from new orleans I am very laid back and maybe a little crazy, any suggestions out there on where I should begin my search?

I could not resist commenting on your line, "I am really wanting to return to my roots as a color specialist..." That cracked me up!

If you're a high end stylist, then the Cherry Creek area is where you'd want to look. Lots of salons there for all the most fashionable ladies in town. Go where the money is. I pay $150 for highlights and a cut. My girl is SO worth it!

Here's a Yahoo! Yellow Pages listings of salons around Cherry Creek. Check them out! Good luck to you!

It sounds like you mostly familiar with doing black hair & I mean no disrespect but if so, you would be most successful in Aurora, Montbello, Park Hill areas. I have gone to most Cherry Creek salons & while very high end, your type of clientele would not be common. Good Luck!

Denver is a huge metropolitan section, in case you look it up on a map, any city that is interior a 20 mile section is on the factor of Denver. in case you want to stay in Denver appropriate, look on the Lowry section or the Stapleton section. Lowry develop into the previous air rigidity base and Stapleton develop into the previous airport. a great number of recent residences and townhouses there. interior 5-10 minutes of CU nursing (I basically replied your Boulder question). the two places are warm, new places to stay, and there are all kinds of places to save and consume around there. If I have been in my 20's i might actual look there.
