When riding, do you nod to other riders? Are you the first to nod or do you wait to see if the other rider nods first? Do you refuse to nod to another biker because of what they are riding?

to many are losing the whole point of being a motorcycle rider (IE) ITS NOT JUST THE RIDING THERE IS ALOT MORE TO ENJOY ITS A BIG FAMILY,
to many think putting matching leathers on makes a biker IT DOES NOT,
hope you have years of fun & make hundreds of friends on your motorcycle, live long ride free

Seems less & less people do this nowadays in the south east, I tend to find BMW riders NEVER acknowledge me & most harley riders are the same.

Last time I had an accident on a bike the guy behind me was on a Ducati & just rode round me & didn't even stop!

I tend now to be more discerning about who I nod to. Camaraderie amongst bikers is slowly dissapearing.

i'm no longer a biker, yet have large understand for them together as driving an artic in site visitors, a rapid flash on n/s indicator to point this is risk-free 2 bypass, often known by potential of the two a nod or lifting of left hand off handgrip. it is the comparable for all bikers, from activities to tourers, you instruct them some understand, they are going to return it. one ingredient I do when I see a motorbike interior the replicate is open the window so i will hear the exhaust be conscious, is there something extra advantageous sounding than a V twin at comprehensive chat (different than for a Aston Martin DB9) sending tingles up and down my backbone!. i assume I might desire to get out extra!!!

Not sure about nodding but I do wave to other bikers. Sometimes I'm first, sometimes I'm second. Traffic also dictates whether I can wave or the other biker can wave back. I wave to all bikers, no matter what they are riding. Bikers are also notorious for helping other bikers when broke down. Think of it as a big clique.

I always nod, indiscriminately, sometimes first, sometimes not but I always make sure to acknowledge other riders, it's just polite. If the other rider doesn't nod, that's their problem, miserable sods! (I ride a Supermoto)

I always do, regardless of whether the other biker acknowledges me. Its the camaraderie and on the few occasions I have broken down on my bike, I have always found other bikers stop. However, when I am in my car it's a different matter ... always have to ring the RAC!
So bikers are more friendly and accommodating to each other. Car drivers could learn a lot!

Yes I nod and, just like saying 'hi' to people I come across, I don't need to wait for them to do so first.

Bike type makes no difference, I'm a friendly person without prejudice.
