Yes, it's true that if you use the free email service, you are required to log in at a specified interval. However, the upgrade version of hotmail (not free) doesn't require this.

They automatically shut off and delete your email account. You lose any emails in there. However all you have to do is come on back and log in again. Your account will be re-created and activated again. If you dont want this to happen, you have to pay a cheap bribe to Microsoft to keep your account around for an entire year.

After period of non use, you can access your hotmail account but must reactivate (will ask you to do that while you log in) well, you will lost your mails in inbox. Create folder in your mailbox for important mails where you will save them. If happened to you that your account must be reactivate, your mails will be safe in folder you created. Of course other in inbox will be deleted.

That is true. It will get deleted. I got grounded for a month and it wasnt there when I got back.

i thinks its longer than one month
i didnt use mine for 6 months and it got deleted....
so i think its around 6 months or so

I think it is longer than that if any. I think if it's canceled for non
use, you could get it back.

I think its like 90days, but yeah it then delets itself.
