I am a bit confused on how to play the game. I am hosting a game and find the instructions on how to play, to be very lame.
I know that we have to ask each other questions, but don't know how to do this

Most murder mystery games will come with something to be read or something to be presented at the beginning of each "Chapter." This usually will spurr off some form of discussion or lead people to point the finger at someone in particular. Ask alot of questions. If there is a word that sticks out in someones description then ask for elaboration, you can start the beginning of it off by asking everyone to introduce themselves, there are several versions of these games out there and most have the introduction: to be read as part of the beginning process of the game. Another thing, be sure to ask questions that you ask in round one or two again in round three if the person didn't know how to answer, sometimes they will know in later rounds incriminating evidence from previous rounds.

Basically play breaks down like this.
1. Hand out character books, everyone read their own beginning up 'till the stop sign
2. Host reads starting information (sometimes provided on a tape/cd)
3. Each player introduces themselves
4. Player ask each other questions

5. Next round, players read their next set of info
6. More clues are revealed
7. More discussion of clues

8. Repeat 5,6,7 for each following round

9. Last accusations and telling of who-done-it.

I've done a few of these and they can be a blast.

Hope this helps.

You can play one online at http://www.MyDarkSecret.com to get a feel for what one is like. It's free and they have a bunch of scripts.
