Selling on eBay is as easy as buying. The only hassle is getting to the post office to send off the stuff you sold! Open a paypal account so you can get payments through them. It is easy, cheap, and convenient and eliminates waiting for payment in most cases. Be sure if you decide to take checks that you give enough time for the check to clear before mailing. Weigh your stuff so you don't get jipped on postage. (That happened to me once selling clothing. I guessed weight and I was WAY off and ended up breaking even on the sale. Believe me, I never let that happen again). And lastly, Remember the golden rule! DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE THEM DO UNTO YOU! Represent your crap realistically.

Pretty much, my job is listing and selling stuff on eBay. It is not difficult. There are a couple things you can do before you list that will make it easier:
1) Research you item: find others who are selling, and try to make you price competitive with them. If you can sell for $1 less than the cheapest already listed, you are pretty much guaranteed an over night sale.
2) Get you pictures ready: if you are not a Photoshop expert, you can pull images of the same item (like in Yahoo! images)that ARE NOT copyrighted and use those images in you listing. Simply save the images in your computer, and you will be able to browse and insert the images in the selling page. But, if you list copyrighted images, your listing might be removed by eBay.
3) Create a selling template: when listing your item eBay gives you 2 options for writing your description html, or standard. If you are savvy w/html, the best thing to do is to create a template and save it in word or equivalent, then you can juts copy & paste it into eBay, and simply add a title & description. If you are not familiar w/html, you can also create a standard description. It would also be wise to create a template that you can copy & paste as well.
Basically, the more info you get together before you list, the easier it is to list, the less time you have to spend on it, the more you can sell, & the more $$$ you make! Ebay offers simple and easy to follow steps when listing, and if you have a problem they also offer Live Chat where you can chat w/an eBay rep, and they will walk you through listing step by step. Hope this helps!

My mothers and fathers used to do quite a number of promoting on Ebay and diverse the time they could look to cutting-edge activities to confirm what to purchase. they'd a exceptionally huge decision of books, political and events memorabilia. they could see what politicians, events figures or activities were contained in the information and ought to promote something they'd that grow to be appropriate. i imagine that what sells on Ebay is probable an ever-replacing element.

As long as you got a digital camera then you are good to go.

Just make sure you the time to take trips to the Post Office as it can be quite time consuming depending how much you sell.
