Thats a good question. I think this has been going on since the beggining of time. I think most groups of humans have resorted to it usually when desperation and starvation set in, but of course some groups simply made it a way of life. I don't see the big taboo in it myself. It is simply survival. I bet with some good seasoning people probably taste pretty good too. There are of course diseases you can get from eating the brains, and maybe other organs, but as far as the meat itself goes, I bet it is pretty safe. I think most consider it so bad because they consider humans to have a soul, but hey, once you are dead-your just a piece of dead meat.

Most species are not cannibalistic by nature. From what I can recall of verious prehistoric societies, there are a few that practiced cannibalism, whether on a regular basis, for ritual puposes, or only when other food ran out, I can't comment. There are a few "modren" or existing societies that were/are cannibals but not many. Given this, I'd have to say that by nature humans are not cannibals.

Man has a unique ability to "choose" what his nature is, i.e. a wolf *might* if starving eat a dead pack mate, but a human can get the idea that eating a foe's heart will make him strong.

while will you supply up being ignorant? DUHHHHHH!!!! "Communion" is fairly not finished with meat and blood in the Christian community. We use bread and wine or juice. it fairly is trouble-free awareness!!!!! the climate are symbols of a covenant made with the aid of Jesus Christ while He died on the circulate. "ingesting" the sacrifice substitute into understood with a view to take part in it, and recieve the reward that come from it. The advice that Christians use "incredibly" flesh and blood is extremely previous additionally. It substitute right into a paranoid Roman accusation. I think we have evolved to the intelligence level where we realize it is morally wrong to kill and eat another human being. Most of us are still ok with eating animals like cows and pigs though.
