I'm not a Rap fan by any means but we all have a right to what we desire. I prefer Rock, Heavy Metal, Death Metal, "Alternative Rock", My number one. Sometimes Punk. Hell I even listen to easy listening music, usually when I go to bed though. Sometimes Classical. My tastes vary but not to the extent of Rap. I don't consider that music. Same with Punk but I like the guitaring. The Radio has a station for every conceivable kind of music on the market so if you don't like rap change the station. Or get an Ipod.

Even though it's not MY type of music...no, I'm not in favor of 'banning' it. We have become a society of banning and passing laws against too many things the way it is. It is ones FREEDOM to listen to what they want....same as me.

Just because you don't like rap doesn't mean others feel the same. So no I don't feel like it should be banned.

I'd vote that we do so. We ban the use of vulgarity for talk shows, so why not music?

No. I think freedom of expression is one of our greatest rights. Just like your freedom to ask this stupid question on the Internet.
