Pretty unlikely, as the evidence suggests that he was in France at the time of the crimes.

The first poster was half-right: Cornwell's book is certainly terrible, but she is not the only (in fact not even the first) author to claim that Sickert was the Ripper.

The only person to pose Sickert as Jack the Ripper is Patricia Cornwell in a very poorly written book with NO footnotes or cites.

i think it's very possible, i read a book on the ripper a long time ago and they made a good agruement for it. but then again the book also made good points that it could have been a member of the royal family.
