I don't hate Hillary Clinton, but I will not vote for her. Hillary Clinton changes her message constantly to suit whatever audience she is speaking with at the time. This makes her completely untrustworthy in my opinion. The first thing I look for in leadership is integrity and this woman possesses none. She will say whatever is required to be elected. Then once in office she will revert to what she actually is, a dyed in the wool liberal. A great example of her hypocrisy is her stand on Ethanol fuels. She has constantly voted against ethanol in the Senate and yet she goes to Iowa and tells the farmers in the corn belt she is all for it. Actions speak louder than words and her actions tell the whole story which she tries to deny with her words. Typical politico, vote for her at your own risk, but at least try to inform yourself of just how unpalatable she really is.

It would be an interesting race if she got the Dem nomination because people seem to either love or hate her. Not many in between feelings. This could be a disadvatage to her. Someone like John Edwards can probably pick up a lot of swing voters, not sure about Hillary being able to do that.

Hate is generally evil, except the hatred of evil itself. Hillary is not evil itself (and no, neither is Bush/Cheney or even Newt Gingrinch) and therefore should not be hated.

Her policies and positions should be evaluated on their merits. My perception is that she is a big-government liberal, but pretty smart and able to get things done. I don't think I would like most of what she would get done. It's not personal, it's political. And that's most how it should be, the candidate's trust/character is always an issue whether Hillary, Colin Powell, Joe Lieberman, or Jesse Ventura.

Because the Right Wing slander machine is good at what it does!
If it commands its lackeys to hate on command, they hate!
Regardless of whether or not there's any truth or justification for the hatred, they hate with a passion that is truly black hearted based on what they heard on Fox News or AM radio!
Look at the vile venom aimed at her so far. They've been at this since 1992 and all she has done to them is try to get Universal Health Coverage!
It's one of the reasons that we need to return to the Fairness Doctrine for FCC licensees!
The irony here is that Hillary and other Democratic Leaders would aid and abet an attempt to sabotage a return to the Fairness Doctrine if the price was right.,

Maybe it is because she is a Democrat, and there are a lot of sexist bigoted pigs that cannot see past their prejudices. But then again, Bush brought morality back to this country by not having sex in the White House.

She is no Bill Clinton - meaning she cannot appeal to the masses and both sexes, nor does she have a gift of gab, like her husband does (he could sell ice to Eskimos).

She is also backing herself in to a corner, as she says one thing to one special interest group, and then something totally different to another.
She's lying and she's not even president!
(Hell, Hillary, at least have the dignity to wait until AFTER you are elected!!!!)

An excellent example of her duplicity may be found in the link.

You've got a good cross section, "Shes an uppity woman, that won't do" "I don't really care shes a Democrat so I can hate on her without needing to know anything else" "Who cares, her husband has sex and should be punished unto the seventh generation". So much of the Hillary thing is not based on anything she did,or wants done, but on the fact that she is a woman or a democrat or married to Bill, and therefore must be guilty of SOMETHING.
Pointless drivel.

She truly does represent the venom of the liberal left.. Maybe if she would have divorced her husband after the Monica Lewinsky affair, she would have had a chance... Now... I pick Obama, Edwards, or Evan Bayh... Yes, I am ready to vote for a woman President, but not this woman.... :(...

The gentleman who tlked about her hypocrisy was right on. I don't hate her - she lies and wants to spend my money. She is power hungry - why else would she stay with a philanderer? I just don't like her absence of honest convictions - all politicians are not corrupt but I truly believe she and her husband are. Morals and values do have a place in our society - too bad she has none.

I agree on the fear factor. I think it's mostly fear of the unknown. A powerful & intelligent woman who is a democrat? Heavens!
