Well, it's nice for Liverpool to get around the ruling that no player can for three different clubs in a season.

Who knows, Mascherano might turn out to be a pretty good signing for the Reds. Perhaps playing under a Spaniard like Rafa might help re-invigorate the player in contributintg to the team. I think Rafa should be the next Coach of England.

The thing is that Mascherano has´t played much, he was injured for 8 months while playing in brazil, where he played almost less than 20 games and in west ham he played what? 10 games?maybe?..so its true that rules are rules, but there is some kind of FLEXIBILITY, in favour of the player's career.

Why is it that Liverpool think they are a law upon themselves. If something doesnt go your way you spit your dummies out like little babies. You sulked your way back into the champions league when you shouldnt have been allowed back in and now you have sulked your way to signing Mascherano. I hope the prem don't allow him to play cus then maybe Liverpool might realise there just like the other 19 teams in the league.

i dont really know about the rules but i do know that hes not getting a game at west ham so why cant liverpool sign him....its quite obvious west ham dont want him

I dont agree with the rule but if you are going to have it then you must apply it consistently. I dont think he should be allowed to play for Liverpool this season.
