Now that espn has decided to go with free fantasy baseball will that effect the turn out of yahoo'ers. Espn being the premier sports site now will offer fantasy baseball for free it has a start date slotted at Feb 16th. If I was yahoo I would try to bet them to the punch and open sooner. Once espn opens and if the baseball drafts are set up like their football drafts (running about 12hrs a day nostop) then its a good possibility that Yahoo'ers will jump boat for espn. Hmmm just a thought!

I think there will not be a big effect on yahoo. I do believe a lot of people will have teams on both ESPN and Yahoo. It is a challenge because you will be in leagues with different settings and you will have to draft your team Differently.

It doesn't seem like a lot of Yahoo'ers jumped ship with all the football for espn, tundra, etc... I don't see baseball being any different. The might even end up with teams on both sights, with different rules/scoring it makes it fun to try both.

I like what Yahoo has to offer in their fantasy leagues. I think that I will probably play in both next season... I have Basketball leagues on Yahoo and NBA.com because they both have a very different environment. (NBA.com offers keeper leagues where Yahoo doesn't)

I look forward to trying ESPN out...

ESPN makes you pay for insider on almost every article there now.Very annoying/not worth it.

BIG + to yahoo there.
