Without having to delete anything, I would suggest running Disk Cleanup, which gets rid of unnecesary files such as internet cookies, temporary pages and the like, and then running Disk Defragmenter, which is basically the equivalent of the computer cleaning it's room; it will have more space and operate faster.

Hi, an easy and quick solution to make more available space is to compress some of the files on your C drive. Pictures inc bitmap and jpg files compress to around 75% of the size, try not to compress exe. files. Also have you run the defragment tool for a while?
To compress a file, locate file and right click it and select properties, on the general tab click the button that says advanced, then select the check box compress contents to save disk space.
To run defrag tool press start, control panel, performance and maintenance, then select rearrange items on your hard disk to make programs run faster, then select your C drive then click defragment button.

Buy some 'drive-space' units from Ikea.

You just open up your computer and use a pair of tweezers to place these nifty little space savers into the unused cracks or crevices of your motherboard.

Why not store old towels and old clothes in your unused floppy drive, or get rid of all those pesky shoes into your wasted LAN port....

Better still, you can hire a tiny surveyor to scrabble about the inner workings of your machine to see if he can fit a mezzanine loft-space in between your cooling-fan and your master WAP.

...or you could just delete or your porn files...

..come on William, we know they're on there!!...

it may take a while but if you go thru all of your programs and delete any that you don't want or use then it leaves loads of space on your hard drive and your computer loads up 10 times faster!

Erm, sounds like an obvious answer but delete unwanted files.

Go to control panel and uninstall games or programs you dont use.

Download CCleaner and run that and it will delete old log and temp files.

Empty your recycle bin.

i guess you want to make a partiotion[ or more than one] on your harddrive. You can use Partition Magic for example or other software. If you have some important data on the hardrive better burn it on cds or move it to some other Pc before doing any kind of magics :))
