I have been dating this guy for a little while now.. We met on yahoo personals.. Last night I found his ad on 3 other sites.. as of which had a picture of his d**k (which was not in the yahoo profile) Should I question it, considering it might ruin our relationship/friendship.... how do I approach the situation? I am suppose to see him later.. but.. not sure I should bring it up in his face, or just IM him about the situation.. don't really want a confrontation... do I believe him if he says he wants to be with me? should I ask him to delete the ads if we choose to be a couple? how do I prevent myself from getting upset about the issue... I thought everything was going well... thanks in advance to anyone with advice, truly appreciated!

That's a problem with meeting on the internet. Some people are into it strictly for the sex. It could also be that he just gets off on it and nothing else. But he did meet you on it, right? Anyway, I'd be a little careful as far as protecting yourself goes. If you feel that you cant trust the guy then be done with it. It will eliminate worse problems later. There are many dudes out there that can make you happy rather than settle for someone that makes you uneasy. Dont be in a rush to find someone. I have found that we meet special people when we least expect it; not when we are out looking for it. And you dont really need to bring it up to him. What kind of answer could he give you that would be acceptable? Unless he did this before he met you. If you guys are going to be a couple, then of course he should delete the ads. You shouldnt even have to ask him to do that. If it comes down to that, then forget about him. Maybe you should wait and see if he deletes them on his own. Then you'll know how much you mean to him. Just a thought.

A lot of people put out a lot of ads while they are in the search phase. Some sites allow more to be shown than others so I would not blow it out or proportion yet. If you think your relationship has potential and you want to take it up a notch, just ask him about the other postings. If they were placed after you started dating, then I would be a little concerned but if they predate your relationship, I would not be real concerned. If you become a couple, it may be a good time to remove the ads and if your relationship blooms, neither one of you will be playing the field any more anyway...

If the picture of his dick really bothers you then i would move on. Regarding his personal ads, how long have you been dating this guy? You only say a little while. How close do you beleive you have become? Do you feel like he is deceiving you? Follow your gut instinct. If you feel betrayed then just let him go and move on. These are your feelings and no one can tell you what is right for you.

Best,

J

You should be able to ask him anything you want. Not to be rude but i get the feeling you are really insecure and maybe a bit immature. Maybe think about working on these issues before worrying about some guy. Learn to be assertive.

Regards,

J

Also,
I might agree with the girl below (not sure I understand everything). He sounds like a player!

There are a lot of people dealing with the same exact thing. Honestly I think anyone advertising in those sites is rather desperate (YES, even you). Lets face it putting up a picture of your privates means you are wanting sex. Also, you were on the sites cruising - you were looking for something. I think you are not better than him and that you two will run your course in due time and go different ways. You will repeat this pattern numerous times until you realize how futile it is to try and find a meaningful relationship on these type of sites or until you catch an STD. I see a lot of heart break for you either way.

let him know exactly how u feel
i personally thinks hes a player since he got other sites with personal stuff oviously hes attratting others that way and ur one of them

if u guys decide to hook up let him know 9 time out of 10 he will tell u he tooo the poics off but then agin theres more than enough sites outhere that u might not know about
so get to know him better bfore anything else persist especially if ur starting to feel him as more than a friend

Please have a talk with him immediately over the issue. If the relationship breaks, better now than later. No relationship can be based on unanswered suspicions. You have to have unfettered trust between yourselves if you want to carry on in life together.
So talk to him right now, don't procrastinate. It will do both of you good.

When my bf and I decided to date on a regular basis, He asked me if I would remove my profiles, which I did. He removed his also. The important thing is we talked about. If you want this relationship to work, communication is key.

When you see him today just tell him "hey, we've been going out for a while now, why don't you take down all your personal ads?" His reaction will give you your answer on what to do next.
