can you give me the formula, to convert my living years into seconds as up to yesterday noon. feb.1? my chemistry teacher is really lay and didn't teach it please.

1.00000 Month = 2629743.83000 Seconds
1.00000 Day = 86400.00000 Seconds
1.00000 Hour = 3600.00000 Seconds

Figure out how many of each you need, then multiply and add them all together.

To actually convert all you have to do is say the declaration of faith, preferably at the mosque with witnesses. Then try and attend any classes they offer. You will find it all very new, even a bit confusing in the beginning, but thats perfectly normal. Dont try to be a "super-muslim" right away. Your age in decimal years = your age at your last birthday plus (all of the days since then/365.25)

Say you are 13 and 126 days. Your decimal years are 13+(126/365.25)= 13.345

Then it is simply a matter of multiplying units:

13.345yr.*(365.25day/yr.)*(24hr./day)*
(60min./hr.)*(60sec./min.)=421,136,172sec.

Notice as you multiply these fractions and units,
everything is cancelled out at the end except for seconds:-)
