Have you ever hit an animal big enough to damage your vehicle? What was it?

I hit a moose once! Scared the crap out of me and also did a lot of damage to my car. Thankfully i hit just the front legs so it smashed the front of my car, smashed the hood etc etc. I didn't kill it though so i had to keep driving but i was shaking so bad. At the time i was driving a standard, try changing gears when you are shaking like ten!!

I never did. But I know a lot of people who has hit a deer from time to time that did a lot of damage.

fortunately no, but I have had some close calls. I came close to tagging a deer once in my old car, I slammed on the brakes so hard that the engine stalled. Once I was in my mom's car and this GIANT possum ran in front of me, and the car stalled that time because I reacted so fast I forgot to put the clutch in.
