Hi, Try your going out trousers, shirt and a knitted sleeveless top,(preferably with a pattern) or you could go as a hippy, trousers colourful shirt and waistcoat ,round sunglasses, and bandana mmmm!you would have to wear jewellery though..... and i disagree with some of your answers that clothes in the 70's were horrid i had some great clothes, all that are now back in fashion.

My friend had a 70's themed hen night and I wore a denim mini skirt, boots and a psychedelic top (which I could cover with a jacket) so kind of looked a bit 'normal' otherwise. Put glitter on too!

Ive been trying to look what was in fashion at the time lol, all i can think of is charlies angles

I'd say go for flares there still fine to ware or you could ware hot pants i think those was in fashion as well (but it depends if you brave enough lol )

i found a grate website for vintage clothes http://www.marthascloset.co.uk/search.asp?types=yes&type=Vintage+Dresses

i'd also suggest you have a look on ebay in the vintage dresses bit.

Small dotted pattern knee length skirt, platform shoes, cream tights, tank top, shirt with full sleeves - this is what I wore - and so did my friends as teenagers in the 70's.

hows about flared jeans, a tight white tee and a waist coat and some sunglasses, just look at episodes of that 70's show to get ideas, they wore stuff that didn't look that bad

Boot cut jeans (denim or courduroy), a plaid flannel shirt, and some sort of vest- denim or sweater vest. Shoes can be boots or sneakers, nothing too 2007 trendy though.
