After all, this is the United States of America! We may not like what the other side has to say, but that's no reason to say that the other side should be killed.That sort of thinking is for totalitarian regimes, not democracies.

Exactly, Tangerine. Fortunately, most of the people who say that have flown off the handle and don't mean it. But those that do ought to be punished by reading (and perhaps writing) the entire Constitution. Maybe they'll find where exactly it says "conservatives are better than liberals" or "liberals are better than conservatives".

Do you not know, only one side can be right and there cannot be any other way of looking at things? It has been like this from the beginning and will be until the end. Sadly, there is no true democracy. There is just the side with the most power at the time, which is always shifting. This discourages people from not only voting or participating, but from caring.

A lot of those people aren't "Joking" they mean it . And these are the people who are the problem, They wanted to remove Saddam Hussein from his regimes, so they can impose their own regimes and there would be very little difference between the two. Id say it come down to 2 thing Money "Haliburton" and Power. "oil"... these are the root catalyst in this war.

I hear you. Unfortunately, I think it's one-sided. Faux News Channel regularly hosts people who call for the EXECUTION of those they disagree with (see sample Ann Coulter link below.) In short, I think it's "conservative" leaning people who are constantly calling for the death of "liberals."
I challenge anyone to find a famous news-based "liberal" who has called for the death of a "conservative."
I'll bet your question gets a lot of insults from conservatives toward liberals, but no sources are quoted. In fact, I GUARANTEE it.
