And why is it such a secret? And why would it open in March as some suggest when it opened Feb 2 last year.

Ok I have an answer that it all starts on Feb. 3 Saturday! I can buy that but, as far as the drafting goes Mid March, I have to dissagree with that. Last year I (according to my fantasy sports profile) I had my first draft on Feb. 5, so I have to ask where are you getting you info from/

Some people are so mixed up when it comes to Fantasy Baseball drafts. March is usually the month of Spring Training and that's what people assume when Fantasy Baseball starts, but in reality it starts before players report to camp, which is early to mid-February, so people who drafted early can take a look at the progess that top players are doing and any warning signs during camp and spring training. CBS Sportsline is already kicking off Fantasy Baseball today (2/2/2007), with ESPN slated for mid-February (and for the first time, it's FREE) and Yahoo! before that. MLB will then follow with their yearly MLB Opens. Hope this helps.

I know exactly how you feel!!! I've been stalking the website like 30 times a day to see if it's open yet.
Here's the sign-up info from 2006...
"Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Baseball runs throughout the entire 2006 baseball regular season, which begins on Sunday, April 2 and is scheduled to end on Sunday, October 1.
Full season registration begins on Thursday, February 2 and continues until Saturday, April 29.
Registration for the midseason game begins on Monday, May 15 and continues until Saturday, June 17. The midseason contest will begin with the games played on Monday, June 19."
...based on that it has to be just about any day now. Keep your fingers crossed that it's today!! I know I am!!

Registration for fantasy baseball opens Saturday, February 3rd. Live drafts start in early-March, probably the first week.
Registration is almost always a few days before Super Bowl Sunday.

i honestly am not for sure....but i remember when it opened last year i couldn't do a team for a day or two after it started up because it wouldn't load properly. that could the reason?

It usually doesn't open up until the first week of spring training
