...piss anyone else off a lot too? I watch Naruto, but only the subtitled ones. The ones on Cartoon Network, the voice acting sucks a lot! Naruto's voice on CN is done by some fat woman who can sound like a little boy, she does a bad job. (oh I'm also pissed that for the past year the new Naruto episodes have been fillers, nothing but fillers.) Tell me, why do the people who redo animes television shows in the usa do such horrible jobs? :/

I have no idea. I've gotta admit....I HATE DUBS.... Seriously, people in the US cant seem to voice act (no offense anybody). I think its just personal preference to how you percieve the US voice actors. I also think it has somthing to do with seeing the japanese version before you see a dub because i know someone who watches dubbed naruto and they say, "ah, its not that bad." then i show them the japanese version and they said, "this is WAY better!"
If you dont know any better, your gonna think that what you have is good! Thats my theory!

I can't watch the CN version, everything seems so cheesy. It's hilarious and cute while watching the the subtitled version, but I just wanted to hide behind a pile of rocks in embarassement when I gave the english version a trial for the first time a few months ago after getting cable access for the first time.

Yup definately pisses me off as well... :P

I think they have to air Shippuuden otherwise it would ruin the show for them. The bad thing is that there is going to be a long wait from the first part of Naruto to Shippuuden. Hopefully they let them swear more in Shippuuden to stay closer to the Japanese version. They will most likely wind up doing what they did with One Piece they switched one company for Funimation and let the violence level go up. One good sign of this is that on Saturday before Naruto started on Toonami last week there was a parental advisory thing.

Not all anime dubbing is bad. The Fullmetal Alchemist dubbing was done very well. A few are bad, and Naruto is one of the better ones. Some of them are cruddy, just look at 4KIDS did to One Piece. Digimon Frontier was done very well.

Just because one anime dubbing is wrong in your ears, doesn't mean all.

YES! THE DUBBING DOES PISS ME OFF!
It sounds like Naruto crapped his orange jumpsuit...
That's why I only watch the subbed versions.
