I currently live in Asia, and I want to buy an Xbox 360. I'm going to be living here for the next 2 1/2 years, and then I'm going off to college in the US. So, my question is, should I get an Xbox 360 here, and be able to buy games here, but then will end up having a harder time getting games after that? Or, should I get a US Xbox 360, making it harder for me to get games for the next 2 years, but then making it easier for the next 4 after that? So, in other words, short term or long term?

I'd the 360 over there. For a couple of reasons. Who's to say with absolute certainty where you'll be in 2 1/2 years? That's a ways away. Also, what if the thing breaks in 2 years, why did you spend the last two years importing games? And finally, what if 3 years from now, you're not even playing it? What if you become a big Wii or PS3 fan? Or some other new system that maybe Apple or some other guys come out with?

I didn't know that there is a difference in the 360 besides languages. I dont know if you got enough money bye one there and bring it with you and if the games here in the us don't work on it the bye anotherone, just remember $299 for core system and $399 For pro.
