Wouldn't you think it should be the other way around..sunshine/early spring?

...and if this rodent has such control over our weather why doesn't he do something about global warming? ; - )

The Germans believed that if a hibernating animal cast a shadow Feb. 2 — the Christian holiday of Candlemas — winter would last another six weeks. If no shadow was seen, legend said spring would come early.

It's just a silly tradition. It's not an early spring in the sense of the calendar. It means that warm weather will arrive early in the year.

It really doesn't mean anything. About 6 weeks till spring either way. It just all depends on how you say it. If you say 6 more weeks till spring! Or six more weeks of winter! Same thing either way. They just like to make this a big silly tradition. And, I'm afraid it's not going to stop. About 6 more weeks though.

It's a silly rat. None of this matters at all. Further, global warming is not a true human cause, but a natural development that can't and won't be stopped despite what the corrupt UN is trying to lie to the public about.

It's pure bunk. I guess that's why the news loves to show it every year...today the mainstream media is nothing but bunk.
