yes, the catfish have eaten it. you have to move your catfish to another tank. if you dont do it. i am afraid your neon tetra will dissappear 1 after another.

My mates tetra jumped out the tank once down the back of a radiator. When he found it in the morning it was covered in fluff and dust and was obviously dead. What a way to go.....
If the cat fish is of a reasonable size then yes, it may well have been 'breakfast'

I had a catfish i substitute into informed substitute right into a strict vegetarian and it grew to become out to be an omnivore. which could be the place your tetras went. they could additionally be hiding interior the backside filter out. verify for any holes in that. If there are no, then that may not the place they're. Or, and that i for my section desire i'm incorrect approximately this one, they could have died. in the event that they have, the different fish might have eaten them, and/or they have been sucked into the filter out. ultimate of success!

yes I have catfish, pleco's, sharks, goldfish and some strange black googley eyed fish and we added 10 neon's to the tank..... and now we have none! one by one they got eaten, had to go out and buy some tiger barbs yesterday to make the tank look full again lol neons and other small fish tend to get eaten by the bigger fish you have to be careful with catfish as they can be quite vicious and territorial and will eat all small fish the same with bigger sharks, plecos, angel fish etc

Please check behind the filter, once one of my guppies went missing and after a month we found it behind the filter. Thank god it was still alive! Once i bought a red crab, it went missing for a week. We looked everywhere inside the tank, but it was nowhere to be found. We searched the whole house and discovered it under a double bed in one of the bedroom. it had travelled from the living room all the way there, and the tank's lid was closed as well. of course it was dead and stuck to the ground firmly (disgusting). I still wonder how he made it out of the tank......

If the fish was sick the catfish made quick work of it. Plecostomuses do the same thing. If you dont catch a sick or dead fish right away they will consume it in no time.

unfortunately yes. If this fish was a little weaker or smaller than the others, its possible it has now gone to the great fish tank in the sky via one of your other fish's belly
