Why can't people in boston tell the difference between a BOMB and a SIGN?

I have seen the signs that caused the panic, and I had to laugh. Not only do they NOT look like bombs, but they were in a dozen other cities and people there were smart enough to know the difference. What is wrong with Boston?

I don't understand why they are focusing all the attention on these two guys who put the signs up. I may be missing something, but aren't they employed by the cartoon network to put the signs up? Why are they in the wrong? I am sure I have not heard the whole story. And I heard that someone called in a bomb threat. (This may be false. ) So the city was in a panic looking for the bomb and they found all those boards.

Also, have you ever heard of a bomb "looking" like a bomb. Terrorist like to hide them and make them inconspicuous. These were out in the open. I don't know. I guess if you fear the safety of your city then in a panic, everything looks like a bomb.

You are quite the deep thinker you Fukstick: I'm sure any terrorist out there is going to make it easy to identify a potential detonating device. Of course they won't try to conceal it. They are most definitely not into the whole "element of surpise" thing. Maybe we should ask them to place a sign above their bombs "BOMB PLACED HERE" in order to prevent any future panics.

Seems a bit silly doesn't it. Then again NOBODY thought someone would use planes to fly into skyscrapers. And if perhaps some one wanted a bomb to look silly and ignore it...and if they didn't proceed has they had and it was a bomb and they didn't do something wouldn't most of the folks on here call them idiots anyway?
