i really trusted yahoo's moniteen as a onest website, and computronika's web site seemed big, good and reaccuring .

after the money was dilevered ( via moneygram) i got a mail that the nootbook will be dillevered in 5 days, when those days passed i tried to send computronika sevrel emails, i haven't got any answer from them nor the coputer, and u can guess that i haven't got the money as well...
so first of all i telling u all DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM COMPUTRONIKA! SCAM!
and don't trust yahoo's survays at all!

Looks like they are crooks.

What can you do? Unless you are a government agency probably nothing. And as they are operating out of a foreign country you would need to be interpol or prepared to operate quite illegally to get them.

If you paid cash then there is nothing you can do to get your money back... if you paid by credit card then you could get the money back from the card company. But they didn't take credit cards did they?

What can you do? Learn that if an offer is too good to be true it's probbaly too good to be true. Pay by card. Research the company. Don't get caught next time that way you won't have wasted $1600 on nothing.

Sorry. I learned for a lot less than that... and I'd paid by card so I got some of my money back.

Any shopping site that uses Money Gram exclusively as payment is usually a scam. I would have thought that maybe it got lost or ambushed in the mail but since they won't respond to your emails it smells like a scam to me. But living in Israel the best thing for you is to buy locally because when you buy international you have no recourse when you get burnt. its worth paying double when you can physically punch the salesman in the nose verses sending a heated email.
