Ireland I think, but wouldn't it be lovely if it was England (sorry to anyone from the other nations, but you're allowed to be patriotic about sport).

Going into the 6 nations Ireland are the best team. They should win overall perhaps not a grand slam. I can't understand why so many people here are tipping the English?? The same goes for Wales. Good teams on their day but have shown no form to be considered contenders and along with the injuries and suspensions it makes it even more unlikely.
Ireland deserve it, this group of players have been together for a while and all the years of dedication have been building towards putting the international team into this position. The Welsh are not far behind in that regard...but with all respect its diffcult to see how the English will ever becme the force they were in world rugby with the premiership being runthe way it is. Why does it have to becoem like soccer... (i.e. money money money) sorry for getting of the point...

The Championship all hinges on how the results go this weekend. There are potential upsets in all three games. Its all about on the day. The Six Nations should give us an early indication of form for this years world cup, but i struggle to see how any of the northern hemisphere teams will overcome the might of the All Blacks come September. Wales will win the Six Nations and will be runners up in this years Webb Ellis...(we can but dream)..

Well, the fact is this - it ain't gonna be England, Scotland or Italy.

There are 3 contenders - Wales, Ireland or France.

I'm Welsh, but seeing what our bloody stupid ex-captain Gareth Thomas has just done playing for Toulouse, I'm starting to see a little bit of an omen.

I hate to follow the trend, this time I'm gonna have to make an exception..Ireland are going to WIN the Grandslam this year...

Ireland are building & getting stronger each year.. We really deserve it this year but that doesn't mean we will automatically get it. This is why we are adapting our game.. The new rules in the scrumb really will suit us on match day & well England might have Johnny but hey... we have Rodge....

I would love to think England will win it, but it will probably by Wales. At the end of the day, the best team will win.
