I think it could be Funkology: One Nation Under A Groove, 2xCDs of pure funky goodness. A bit older than 2 or 3 years, released back in 2001 but the front cover is uncanny.

Love Rollercoaster - the album was honey. On the song Love Rollercoaster you are meant to be able to hear the scream as the women on the front of the album is murdered.
