Completely normal! My first trimester I was so tired it was literally painful. Before I found out I was pregnant I thought I might have mono! I would come home on my lunch break from work and take a nap! I was exhausted all the time. The best thing to do is go to bed early (I seriously went to bed at like 9 or 9:30 for the first trimester) and take naps whenever you can. My sister used to take a nap in her SUV on her lunch breaks at work (she was too far away to go home for lunch). Catch some sleep whenever you can. It's part of the first trimester. It does get better in the 2nd trimester though. Just wait it out! :)

That was one of the only things I experienced apart from the sore breast. Pamper yourself because by the end of your first and the beginning of your second you may notice you are just the opposite. Every woman can vary is symptoms of course but it is very normal. If you can rest when your tired. Even when I was exhausted I only tended to nap for an hour and I was up and exhausted again. *LOL* Your not alone. Some people find it just the oppositie even in the beginning of pregnancy. Congrats on your pregnancy and know that it is perfectly normal.

Oh yeah! I am just now getting to 12 weeks and starting to not be so tired. But the first 10 weeks or so I would go home from work, take a nap, wake up for a couple hours or so and then go right back to sleep for the whole night. Just think....your body is going through a lot right now to help this baby thrive so you will be tired. Good luck and congrats!

Oh yeah I couldn't keep my eyes open at work and when I got home I went straight to sleep at like 4:00 in the afternoon. I had never ever gone to sleep early or took naps it had passed my second trimester but now I'm about to go into my third and I'm getting tired again.
Good luck and Congrats.

Yes it´s normal, I´m in my second trimester and still feel a little tired but not as bad as in my first trimester. I still only wake up at 10 in the mornings and go to bed at 10 at night... You need a lot of rest now, taking naps during the day also helps....

Remember once this baby starts moving you will know it is all worth it lol that is untill it finds your ribs then you will wanna slap the little bugger for kicking so hard.
Anyways good luck with pregnancy and drink loads of water it helps.

Hi in the first 3 months this is completely normal. the growth rate of your baby is so much at this time that is zapps your system. I personally found the first 3 months the most tiring, then it gets better. Dont worry its just normal. Good Luck x

absolutely....i could have slept for days when I was pregnant!!! mine are 15, 13 and 11 now, but I remember feeling like I hadnt slept for about a week in the early stages of pregnancy. Do what your body is telling you though, and sleep when necessary, or at least when u can!!! good luck!

Yes, my wife felt that way during both pregnancies. She's a high energy woman, so for once, I could keep up with her. It's very typical to be tired in the first trimester. It would be weird if you were not.
