yeah, it's normal. maybe it's because you're scared that your best friend might turn his/her attention more on that 'someone' and leave you behind.
well, don't be scared. you're friends, right? and to prove that you really are true friends is when it comes to meeting other people. of course, the both of you will be meeting new people in your lives and will also be friends with them. but if you guys are really the best of friends, nothing would change. you'd still be the same old best friends. good luck with that. =)

I absolutely think its normal to get jealous or upset over someone else getting close to your best friend. I've been in that situation and the best advice that i can give you is to talk to your friend. they're your best friend for a reason, right? You should be able to tell them how you're feeling and your friend probably doesn't even realize that they are making you feel bad or jealous. Sometimes when people are really close or have been friends for a long time, we start to take each other for granted...remind your friend how much they mean to you and maybe that will help.

Yea it's normal since after all of the things you and your bestfriend shared, you are slowly getting used to it and once you get used to it, seeing your bestfriend with other people just keeps you uneasy. But later on, you will realize that the person who got closer to your bestfriend might be a good friend as well...So, don't let jealousy overcome you or your bestfriend might think you're becoming a bit possessive and might leave you...

you cant be jealous because then your gonna do something stupid and then your friend will be mad at you. instead just try to be friends with the other person too, you can have more than one best friend. and besides theres no way to replace you im sure, your friend obviously likes certain qualities in you, just dont change to try to compete with the other person.

Why be jealous and insecure? Make friends with the person(s) as well. Just because the person is friends with you doesn't mean they can't have friends outside of your friendship. Make other friends yourself.

my best friend has another best friend but not like me , it dosent make me jealous , because my best friend is a great person and she deserve to have many friends, and when she has other friends around, sometimes sometimes ia am around as well we have great time , and sometimes I stay at home giving them space if I feel they want to talk about personal issues, yes she is my best friend and I know every thing about her but I dont have to know about her other friends...
