I know how you feel! I heard that eating fresh pineapple cores would help because there's some sort of hormone in them that can trigger labor. I made so much fruit salad just so I could get the cores out and eat them, it was rediculous.
I probably ate 3 or 4 of them (sliced into thin wedges), and then I decided to take a walk around our backyard, which is moderately hilly and very uneven. I'd heard that doing so can bring on labor, I was willing to give it a shot.
2 days later I went into labor. I don't know if it's a coincidence or if the pineapple and walk helped, but that's what I can tell you about my experience. Good luck -- and don't worry, it will happen soon!

Well good luck, I'm sure the baby will come when its ready to! Years ago I took my overdue pal for a drive around town in my Renault 4. Over and over the cobbles, not a lot of good suspension in the back of a Renault 4.... she went into labour that night! Some folk swear by giving the kitchen floor a good wash, on your hands and knees....scrubbing the deck style.... But I'd say try the car drive first! Good luck!

I tried lots of things to bring on labour when i was expecting from hot curries and walks sex and even going up and down stairs and doing jumpin jacks.
none of them worked i had to be induced, am afraid you just have to wait.
enjoy the new arrival when they put in an appearance

Go for a good long walk. If this doesnt work then try a fairly hot curry and some herbal tea. The walk worked for my first child but the curry worked for my second.

your baby wont come until he or she is ready but I guess that theres no harm in trying some old wives tales to see if you can get labour started... try a long walk, a nice hot bath, a curry or some sex
good luck

Why would you want to join parliament when you are so close to giving birth. Your constuents would be left with no MP. Anyway Labour are on the way out so i would join the Liberal-Democrats if i was you.

Don't even think of trying you could do yourself or your baby harm. The last few weeks are always the worst they seem to go on for ever. It will be worth the wait when your holding your new baby.

sorry to say this but you've got at least a week to go yet...
you could try being active, do lots of cleaning.... i was very active with my second and she was a week early..
also they say love making, hot curries and long walks work - well thats what i was told with my third that was a week late..
good luck!
