MEN WANT SEX! Married man here of 8 years, father of two, celebrating our 12th Valentines Day together. And I can tell you that 99.9% of husbands (including me) WANT SEX!!!
So do your husband a favor and just for one stinking night be the dirty little porn star he wishes you'd act like! Don't go to bed at 11pm and do the same old 10 minute drill that you do twice a month before flipping on the TV. Instead why don't you do your hair? Put on some make up? SHAVE! And instead of the flannel pajamas you've been wearing the last 3 nights, try putting on the sluttiest lingerie you own! Stockings, garter belt, the works! Lock the door! Light some candles! Pop in some porn! Bust out a couple of toys (buy one if you don't have one) and give him the most incredible show of his life! Tell him how hot and horny you are! Tell him all the things you can't wait to do to him! Talk dirty! Crawl around on the bed! Hand him the digital camera (memory stick optional) and have him be the camera man! Create a fantasy for him and do some things that you don't normally do in positions you don't normally do! Use a fake name for yourself and lose yourself in a crazy night of lust and sex with your husband!! And then afterwards you can fall asleep totally exhausted, tingly, and amazed at what YOU achieved! Then tomorrow night when he comes to bed with a smile on his face, a bulge in his pants, and a gleam in his eye, you can remind him that "Ginger Lynn" from last night has already left the building! But that if he's really really good that MAYBE she might come back for Fathers Day!

Seriously, you know your husband. I realize that some couples, the woman wants it more, but for most of us, we want sex. If we don't have sex on valentines day, it was NOT a good day. As for what would make it 'the best gift' my wife could give? I'd be surprised if your husband doesn't occasionally hint at something he'd like that you don't normally do (or hell, never do, you said 'best gift a wife could give'). That would be better then any material thing.

The best gift I ever got from my wife was a card that told me how lucky she was to have me and how I made her life complete.
Sounds corny but that beats any watch, shirt, tie, etc. in the world. To know that I make the woman I love happy - priceless.
