well it would be very boring to not watch superstars like Dirk Nowitzki, Carmello Anthony, or even Shaqullie O'Neal but that is the reason that they are in the NBA is because they are superstars so you don't just get to the NBA by walking down the street and someone askes you "hey ya wanna be in the NBA" So that is why they are in the NBA cause they are superstars. Anyways their would be no point in watching them play if they weren't superstars i would then rather watch 3rd and 4th graders play

There would always be superstars. If the superstars of today were gone there are going to be others that will be better than the rest. There will always be superstars. It is pretty hard to answer this question correctly.

Showboat dunks, flashy ball handling skills, and ridiculous 3 point shots are what brings the NBA from fun to exciting.
Regular players will pull these off sometimes as well, but with superstar athletes, they are almost guaranteed.

There would be alot more respect for the game. People make superstars and when someone is built up, they blow up and become "Superstars" and don't know how to keep it real anymore.

It would be like the WNBA. You would see very good fundamentals and team play, but it would be unwatchable... like the WNBA.
Just like the NBA before the brought in the flair of the ABA in the 70's.
I'll say it again... unwatchable!!!

there will always be superstars. every game has standards. if there were no tmacs, kobes, lebrons, shaqs, we would lower the standards of what "great" is.
