I used to like it but not anymore. Did you notice that Dog never really gets the guy, he sends in Leland and Tim and jumps in when he`s already down.

He's getting sued for bounty hunting in a country that doesn't allow it.
The show ‘Dog The Bounty Hunter’ is a ‘Cops’ type reality show that centers on the true accounts of a genuine bounty hunter. Duane “Dog” Chapman and his crew are pros at tracking down and capturing fugitives. The recent arrest was due to the fact that Luster’s capture took place in Mexico where bounty hunting is illegal. As of late, the three are being held in Honolulu and will face an extradition hearing to Mexico.

HONOLULU - A woman has sued Duane “Dog” Chapman, alleging that a member of the TV bounty hunter’s team threw her down a flight of stairs and broke her back while her boyfriend was being apprehended.

The lawsuit was filed on behalf of Audrey Emery and seeks unspecified damages. Two other plaintiffs, including the boyfriend, seek damages from the bounty-hunting team in the same lawsuit.

Emery accuses an associate of Duane Chapman of injuring her at her Pearl City apartment on Jan. 26, 2005 in the course of arresting Stuart Calistro and filming for the A&E reality series “Dog the Bounty Hunter.”

“They’re filming this TV segment and she is upset because you have these thugs breaking into her apartment and she doesn’t want them in there, so they decide the convenient thing is to throw her down the stairs,” Emery’s attorney Richard Turbin said Thursday.

Duane Chapman and his wife, Beth, released a statement saying their family has become a “target of frivolous lawsuits and publicity seeking attorneys.”

“We pride ourselves in making sure that everything we do is within the bounds of the law and we are confident that we did so in this case,” he said. “The videotape in the television show itself demonstrates that the charges against us are baseless.”

Meanwhile, Chapman is waiting for a ruling by a Mexican judge about his pending extradition in a criminal case there.

The 53-year-old reality star, currently free on $300,000 bond, has been charged under Mexican law with “deprivation of liberty” for his June 2003 capture of fugitive convicted rapist Andrew Luster, the Max Factor heir, in Puerto Vallarta.

His publicist said a decision is expected by Tuesday.

You know what ? it makes me sick to think that dog might be put in jail for this . Thank god for that man going down to Mexico and getting that piece of crap off the street . Since when does the american government listen to Mexico ? Wake up people Mexico is not our friend. They let rapists run their streets and they are haven for United States escaped criminals !!!! I will never visit Mexico and I encourage all americans to stay away from Mexico . I believe in Dog and all he is doing . God bless him and I hope Mexico falls off the face of the earth for prosecuting good people like dog . I hope everything turns out well for him.

Hmmmm, according to the article Kookie posted, the injury occurred over a year ago. Why would you wait over a year to sue someone if your back was that badly injured? "Dog" is famous so of course people are going to sue. It just comes with being famous as well as his line of work.

Talk about frivolous lawsuits. What, are they going to have to put warning labels on bounty hunters, now, too? Maybe we should put labels on all large dangerous men.

I love that show and I think he is doing a lot of good. I think the show...shows other people that they can get into that kind of stuff to. If you don't like it or watch it anymore than why are you talking about??

if one of his guys broke someone's back...he needs to be sued. sometimes they get a little "too agressive" I quit watching the show.
At first it was entertaining....comical...now it's just down right "stupid" like most of the other reality shows.
