It takes hardly a month for AMD to roll out a new core archetecture and hardly 6 months for a new socket. Is this right on AMD's part?

The last new core architecture AMD came out with was the K8 architecture, which is what the Athlon 64 was based on, and that came out in September of 2003. The only real changes they have made are adding the dual core X2s and the new Quad FX platform, but all are based on the same architecture. The new architecture is coming out this summer, so that would make it almost four years, not a month.

As for sockets, they have had all of four over the course of K8 architecture, the 754, the 939, and the AM2, and the new Quad FX. That averages out to a new one about every year, not six months. The 939 came out to support dual channel memory which the 754 didn't, and AM2 came out to support DDR2 which the 939 didn't. This is the problem with having the memory controller integrated into the processor, every time memory changes you need a new socket.

The 7750 gained't run BF3 on extremely settings easily in any respect. I propose the minimum you ought to desire for extremely settings to be playable should be: AMD : Radeon 6990 or 6970 Nvidia : GTX 560ti or GTX 660

This is the name of the game. They are doing their best to meet the rapidly increasing demands of Industry. Some admins want high performace computing, some want it to consume less electricity, some want both of them together. So they keep on improving their products and releasing them at regular interval of time.

I myself prefer AMD over Intel though.

Intel does the same thing, they came out with t he LGA775 when the 457( i think it is) was still big. It does not matter, just because a new socket type comes out doesn't mean you HAVE to go with that processor type. There are plenty of motherboards out there and plenty of processors along with them..
