My best friend, Megan, Invited me to her sister's birthday party. (Jessica is also one of my great friends). Jessica said I didn't have to get her a gift, but I want to give her some money. Should I put 15 or 20 dollars in the card?
(Megan and I are 12, almost 13 and Jessica is turning 14)

Aww you guys are so sweet. But y money? If im you, I ll give a birthday card and a beautiful nice bracelet or ring inside as a friendship token and gift. It shows that you put your thought and love in selecting that particular lil gift. :)

Hhmm.. when I was younger 13-18 I always thought money and gift certificates were SO impersonal but now I LOVE them! I'd say either put $20 cash or get a gift certificate to her favorite lunch place or clothing store.
With your age's I'd say cash is best because it's not like she can just drive anytime she wants to use the gift certificate, yet she could use the cash on anything including school lunches ;)

Money is soooo impersonal - what about a couple of movie tickets instead? and a nice message.
