I used to read a lot in my younger days. I could read a novel by John Grisham in 2 days flat! Not so much anymore, my eyesight is in the decline and reading too much like that gives me headaches even with the glasses.

Hummm I don't often read for pleasure because I do so much reading and typing at work but last week I sat down and started reading a book when the kids left for school (I actually had a day off..that is virtually unheard of)anyway I got so into the book that my husband cooked supper, helped the kids with their homework and read our daughter her bedtime story or more so she read it to him (shes' 8) I finished the 453 page book at a little after midnight I just couldn't believe it...I don't read often because there are so many distractions when I get home from work ...you know the distractions of everyday life....

Everyday. I usually have 2 books going at the same time. Right now I am reading The Deep End of the Ocean by Jacquelyn Mithcard and Looking Back by Belva Plain.

well if i have the urge to read and depending on the book a couple books a month but if i read a bunch of really thick books i get a little burnt out at the moment i haven't recovered from reading the entire dark tower saga i did it in two months mind you if i had a way to get money and not work i probably could have done it in three week's.

I used to read books whenever I had free time but since I started using internet , I have,t read that often ..now I just read books sometimes before I sleep ...very rarely though.

A read for about 30-40 minutes almost everyday - more if the book is really, really good. I like to read murder-mystery books.

a few times a day. i can't sleep without reading at least a couple of chapters. when i'm at the gym i sit on the bike and read. that passes the time quickly. and when i'm waiting for a bus or train i like to read. again, it passes the time.

When I get a good book, I become obsessed and don't stop until I finish it...then I take a break before the next one comes along!!!
