Was at one time
had a fifty-five year old oak that I had taking very good care of for some fifteen years--- my ex dropped it into a bucket of bleach water on her way out of the door !! Hard woman !! Haven't cared much for bonsai's ever since !!
Have one hell of a Samurai sword collection though---last count 16 in all !!

I have about 15 well established bonsai plants,I have developed these from different types of plants ,mostly from cuttings and plants dug up from around my garden & those of friends, none have been bought as established bonsai plants.Another weakness is ikebana, the art of japanese flower arrangment.
