If he won't file joint, you don't have much choice but to file separately. He's gotta sign a joint form.

I would first contact an attorney in your area. Many lawyers give free consultations and would give you direction on how to go about filing for divorce in your state. In Florida, unless the parties have entered into a Marital Settlement Agreement whereby all their assets and liabilities have been distributed, you will need to file a contested action in order to get divorced. If you wish to file without the assistance of an attorney, many court's have "self-help" guides to help you through the divorce process. You can contact your local courts to determine whether they have any such programs. However, I still recommend that you consult with an attorney so you are fully aware of all your legal rights.

candidly as a man, i say see what you can do to save your marriage (especially if you have kids) without letting him humiliate you. But if your marriage is beyond saving, file seperate, but get a good lawyer.
