Bostonians - this one is especially for you.
IT WAS A PROMOTIONAL GIMMICK!
My God people...what is wrong with you?
So, I suppose if Nickelodeon wanted to secure the naming rights for the Big Dig and started placing SponeBob statues everywhere, you'd shut the Big Dig down for fear the sponge was going to eat the city? A gay sponge with a tie is one thing - a terroristic threat is another. Know the difference.
"Oh My God! It's a blinking blue light! It's going to kill us! HELP!" America has gone mad if a harmless object used as a joke paralyzes a city.

How many people think that Boston went completely off the deep end with their response to the "threat" they faced earlier this week?
Again - Bostonians, this one is especially for you...but any red-blooded American who thinks that this Security Level, terror threat thing has gone too far is welcome to answer.

Sponebob is funnier.

The reaction to the advertising was a bit stupid, how much tax payer money was spent taking those down?

After is always to late Dude, if it was some sort of attack it is always better to be safe than sorry. Those Kids are jerks and so is the Promo company that paid the little A holes.
