Marriage is a divine institution from God, and that is when a man and a woman will leave their family and stick to each other as husband and wife legally, then you can say they are married. although it not compulsory but it is important to get married because of the depraved world we are living in where sexuality is given first priority, infact it is just natural to get married when one has reached teh stage of getting married and having kids

formal marriages are really the legal and social obligation to a partner and is instrumental in dealing effectively with financial and security issues if and when they arise in the marriage. However, marriage constitutes the commitment and dedication two people share in a non-platonic relationship. The duration is as fleeting or as long-term as they want it to be. It is for this reason that even when a legal and social obligation is met and commitment and dedication become absent over time that the union becomes obsolete and void of significance. Important elements of marriage therefore are committment, dedication, trust and respect. Love and longevity will follow and "marriage" would assume its true meaning

Nobody "should" marry, unless you plan to have children, in which case the social and legal benefits and protections it provides them are invaluable. Otherwise, marriage may be considered optional. The list of things that are important in marriage is too long to put here, but some highlights are maturity, trustworthiness, communication, responsibility, honesty, mutual respect, and love.

People marry because they love the one person in life that matters most to them and want to spend every waking moment with them.
