It is good for it show that NBA players has discipline and style. But sometime it just seems not right like when Steve Nash receive his MVP award, he has to wear a suit. That just seems not right.

the basic dress code for the players to wear formal or semi-formal dress clothes is fine with me, but the little things that they restricted starting this season were just over the top.

players are no longer allowed to wear bicep bands that kobe was known for except for the ones on their wrists. the full length leg "tights" that dwyane wade rocked aren't allowed anymore either. heck... even the livestrong bands are out!

i mean its one thing to give the players some sort of unified rule for how you dress upon attending a game but when you take away their individuality on the court just because they sport something a little extra along with their uniform it isn't affecting anyone! the headbands, shooting arm sleeves, knee high socks... these are all not only for the look or style but some of it actually helps the player out. pretty soon they're gonna take away everything but the uniform and ban long hair! come on... its 2007... just let them play ball!

It good because whether they like it or not they're roll models and all of America's youth looks up to them. They have to set a good example.
