“Myspace” Should people be accountable for the way they represent themselves, their true self or their want-a-be self?

yes! myspace has become a 'monster' - truely disturbing. i'm all for free speech, but the bashing of others, the plotting and scheming that goes on, the preditors - needs to be regulated.

I also know that it isn't all negative - but when was the last time you heard about that...

People lie about themselves on the internet, and have since the internet got started. Immoral, maybe, but not illegal. It's called freedom of speech. As long as they aren't using it to seduce children, they have every right to lie. It is a parent's responsibility to not allow their children on myspace until they are old enough to understand that.
