The dog , but then he would take them to me which would throw them into confusion..... they would think that dog poop was special and mybe rush round picking it up...... why am I answering this question?

Yea i would say he dog, because as far as first impression good it would look like your were there servant.
But if we were to believe that A) aliens would come to earth after all the Sci. FI shown that show alien are quite smart and would have been observing the earth before landing then they would now that this was just a normal thing for a dog own to do.
