iPod accept only MP4 format video, but DVD is MPEG-2 format, so you need to rip your DVD to MP4 format for downloading on iPod. I recommend 'DVD to iPod Ripper' to you, it can rip DVD to iPod format, you also can cut the black board on DVD movie with it


)You need a DVD ripper to rip it from Disk to PC
Like 'DVD decryptrer'. It's free.
2)Then use iPod video converter to convert them to mp4 format which can be played on iPod.


Sorry I dont own a ipod, however I have freinds that do. so not sure of the sites I believe are a couple of sites you can go to

Yes you can you can go to http://www.ipod-vibez.com they have a full list of sites that let you download dvd to your ipod and they also give you software to transfer you own dvd to your ipod

try using dvd shrink it has some kool features also try dvd fab its kool to.

nope. there has to be a change in the format to save it on the ipod.

it will take time to convert.
