i have xp pc in my house and office and i want to check/work in office pc when i am at home

If you have XP pro, you can set up a remote desktop connection between the two computers. Right click my computer>properties>remote connections tab and allow, make sure you set a user to be able to access the computer. To open remote desktop go to start>all programs>acces.>system tools i believe..

You will need to find out from your admin if you are able to connect through the firewall. Our users do not have access to use RDP without us setting up a vpn connection for them.
