I was named after a Beatles song.......My mum was a big fan.
My middle name is after my Grandmother.
Both our children were given middle names after family members.
Where does your name come from and who were U named after?

I was named Jenna after a porn star. Seriously. My parents are warped.

both my grandma's and my great grandma. My great grandma was called Rosina, so the rose from there, my dad's mum is Anne and so my mum and dad put them together and got Rosanna. Then my Mum's mum is called Marylin, so my middle name is Marie. Changed a little each time, but all the great women in my life, other than my mum.
There was a song as well where they got the idea instead of Roseanne, but i don't know who sang it.
Everyone just calls me Rosie though.

After a Fictitious Mystery Character. Honestly. Named my children after ficticious charcters from a little series of books called the Lord of the Rings....but i did that nearly 24 years ago...ahead of my time huh?

He got killed when he was hit by a street car. We named all of our children after family members and friends....

My mother just pulled my name out of a baby name book.
Unfortunately it can mean frog in another language. I don't think my mother had frog in mind when she named me.
