The problem is not the ones we vote for, it's the ones we don't vote for. Arrogant Elitists like the Heritage Foundation, AEI, Fox News and Washington Post Editorial boards get us caught up in these personality contests every four years. In the mean time they back polices that have resulted in
-Failing to prevent 911, the worst terrorist attack on our soil ever!
-Exploiting 911 to get us into a contrived War for Oil
-Bankrupting this country to the benefit of war profiteers like Haliburton, DynCorp, and CCCI. We started out with a projected surplus in 2000.
-Handing our financial future over to the Chinese so that we can afford this war.
-Exploiting 911 to grab power at the expense of our soldiers lives and our Constitution.
Put pressure on those behind the scenes now. Both parties. If we don't change the way we choose a leader (a lot like the way we choose the next car we buy) we can expect the same.
Bush is horrible, but he's only one pathetic man.
There are scores of pathetic sad excuses for humanity currently gearing up for the good old smear fest we have every four years.
Hillary or Obamba? Woman or Black? it doesn't matter they are not the problem!

I am not going to base my vote on gender or race. That would be just plain stupid. I'm not voting for either of them because both want socialized medicine. It ain't working in other countries, no reason to think it will do more than double, or triple, my taxes here. I want the laws against illegal immigration enforced! The middle class in this country is disappearing. What will the politicians do to stop this? And several other issues I will wait to hear the solutions for.

Obama, yes his middle name is Hussein but he converted to Christianity may be that would make some happy. For all Republicans there would be a black man or woman president if your party cannot find a white man strong and convincing enough to lead this nation. After Bush this country is longing for a leader, someone that can rally everyone behind them and at this point the thirst is so great that they'll settle for a black man or a woman.

Since you are positing that Democratic electability is a lock, Obama seems, SOOO early in the contest, to be the better ideological/issues choice for me. I'm totally blind to gender and ethnicity, so your comment about that is a big "so what?" for me. The big news is that Dumbya is SUCH a lame duck that the contest is starting now.

My answer to that question, the way I can for me.. (In my opinion)
I would not want Hillary to be President, because I don't think she the right person for it.. I think a women shouldn't be, I don't think she can handle that kine of pressures.. Might be more then she can handle..
I rather see a strong man be the President, someone with more Authoritive, and Strong hardcore ruggited man that can handle a President job.. I don't think Hillary is authoritive enough to be able to do the job..
We need someone like Bush, or someone strong and for freedom and world peace, like Bush was.. I know some or most here don't like Bush, But he stand for freedom, Peace and Knew what to do to get things done.. Now, i also know the Bush, hasen't been perfect, Because no one is, even if a new President would take his place.. When Bush, took Saddom out.. He was freeing up the strong holds in that country.. Because Saddom was killing his own people, Killing every one who didn't agree with him.. Kids, women and men, they torchered them.. Have them stand in a line and shot them in the head.. Or Chopped of their hands..
That's why Bush stepped in and said it's enough!! And did something about it.. One of the world biggest crime, a bad dictator gone bad.. He needed to be stopped..
And I don't think Hillary would have done that.. Would she, most likely not.. She would have turn a blind eye to it, like it's ok thing.. I don't think she would be able to handle that situation, In my opinion..
But, I would rather have a man as the next president.. And since there's only 2 choises, Hillary or Obama?
I would have to pick, Obama to be the next President.. Only if he's a strong person to handle a job like that.. I don't know much about Obama, so I don't have mush to say about him..
But, if their was more choises, I would not even chose Obama.. I would rather pick someone I know who would fight for our country.. And help out in others, someone who can lead, listen and do what is right for our country.. Who'll give back to our contry and do more for freedom.. A President of hope, Knowlage, Believes in our rights, knows about not to pass bills that leads to detruction, who is willing to help those who can't work or find jobs, who with do whatever it takes to put our feet back on top of things.. So we people can get a head in life and in living..

You say it's going to the Democrats but if these two are the only options, you are going to have 4 more years of GOP-controlled 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

I really truly hate to say this as I DON'T want either one of them. BUT IF and this is IF I had to vote, and IF they were the only choices, then I'd have to vote for the foreigner OBAMA. BUT I most likely wouldn't vote. Now question for you, Do you know what Obama's middle name is? OK, my spelling might be off here but just for your info it is Hussein.

I really don't know yet. I look forward to the debates, etc. to see what each has to say first. It's too early to make a decision yet.
